Foundation Community Science School, Malumfashi, was established in 2025, but its roots go back much further. In 1980, the school opened as ABU Teaching Hospital Staff School, Malumfashi, the first private school in Malumfashi. Over the decades, it educated many people who went on to distinguished careers as doctors, engineers, lawyers, politicians, bankers, entrepreneurs and leaders in many other fields.
In 2006, the school came under the care of the Malumfashi Foundation and was renamed Foundation Community Primary and Nursery School. Under the Foundation's stewardship, it continued to serve the families of Malumfashi, building on the strong reputation it had earned over the years.
In 2024, the school was upgraded with the opening of a Secondary School section. It then became clear that our community needs young people who are gifted in science, and the school was renamed Foundation Community Science School, Malumfashi. Today, it has four sections: Nursery, Primary, Junior Secondary and Senior Secondary. It is committed to raising a new generation of scientists, innovators and leaders for our community and beyond.
